Mary Bodzy, Ph.D.

Neuropsychologist/Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Bodzy is a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in the assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology with specific field training in neuropsychology at nationally top ranked hospitals. She completed her internship training at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins Medical School with a specialty in neuropsychology, followed by a two-year equivalent pediatric clinical neuropsychology fellowship at Bradley Hospital (a Brown University affiliate hospital), following the extensive Houston Guidelines of clinical neuropsychology training. This additional high level of training allows Dr. Bodzy to provide extensive knowledge and expertise in the assessment process for each and every individual child. Dr. Bodzy has surpassed all milestones of training at a high level to provide the best care possible. 

 

Prior to moving with her family back to her home state of South Carolina, Dr. Bodzy worked as a neuropsychologist at NeuroPsychology Associates and Bradley Hospital in Providence, RI., participating in the assessment and research of children and adolescents with a wide-variety of psychiatric, neurodevelopment, and medical conditions including autism, ADHD, trauma, brain injury/concussions, PTSD, executive functioning, and genetics. Dr. Bodzy trained and worked extensively within a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and in medical rehabilitation. She also received specialized training with trauma and autism and is well-versed in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
